A long, curved beach borders the bay Cala Talamanca with the little resort Talamanca. The soft sand shelves gently into clear waters making it excellent for safe bathing.
A wooden boardwalk runs the length of the beach, passing over into a lovely promenade on the left end of the bay, easily connecting you to either end. You'll find a very good choice of bars and restaurants along its length. Some are open the whole year round and so Talamanca is very popular in the winter months for walks around the bay and lunches in the warm winter sun.
All of the hotel overlooking the beach here have stunning views of the old town of Ibiza, especially when lit at night. There are also hotels open all year round.
Facilities: Excellent restaurants line the boardwalk. With a wide choice of price ranges and menus there'll be something for everyone. Showers and lockers on the beach. Lifeguards. Shady areas are sparse, so take coverups.
Getting there: Reached by car, bus and ferry from Ibiza Marina. Alternatively take a leisurely stroll along the sea front past the Marina, Ibiza Town and the port area is only 15 minutes walk. Car parking is good, in an area close to the beach.
